Finally got back to blogging

Thought I would put in some pics of the dolphins that I was feeding in Tin Can Bay. These dolphins are the indo-australian humpback dolphins. they live in the estuaries rather than the ocean.

They can be fed any day during the year for just a gold coin donation you can get a fish to feed to them. Feeding starts at 8:00am until all the fish have been given to the dolphins. Sometimes there are three dolphins sometimes one or two. Their names are Mystique, Harmony and Patch.

Patch is a male dolphin around 17 years old. Mystique is a female, not sure of her age. Harmony is the newest of the pod to come in to feed. She is still very nervous during feeding so you have to be very still and not rush up to her.

While I was in Maryborough I also went on the Mary River cruise and the historical cane steam train. There are also some pictures of the Mary River and my very dirty car after driving through the Biggenden state forest and Tuan state forest over the last 14 days
